Qualifications:
Air Worthiness Officer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or Aircraft Maintenance or Engineering Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication from a recognized University.
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s (AME) License endorsed in either of the Categories B1 or B2 issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Air Safety Officer:
- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized University.
Livestock Officer:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry as listed in the First Schedule and Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984) from a recognized university or institution.
- Registration in the Veterinary Council of India or Veterinary Council of States
Junior Scientific Officer (Ballistics):
- Masters’s Degree in Physics or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subjects during all three years of a Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.
Junior Scientific Officer (Biology):
- Masters’s Degree in Botany or Zoology or Microbiology or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Physical Anthropology or Genetics or Forensic Science with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects during all three years of Bachelor of Science level from a recognized university OR B.E or B. Tech. in Biotechnology from a recognized university.
Junior Scientific Officer (Chemistry):
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Associateship diploma of the Institution of Chemist by examination or Biochemistry or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects during all three years of Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.
- The associateship diploma of the Institution of Chemist by examination qualification will be applicable only to the departmental scientists available on the date of notification of the RR (amendment).
Junior Scientific Officer (Physics):
- Masters’s Degree in Physics or Applied Physics or Computer Science or Electronics or Forensic Science with Physics as one of the subjects during all three years of Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.
Public Prosecutor:
- Degree in Law from a recognized University.
- Basic knowledge of word processing on computers and the internet.
Junior Translation Officer:
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
Assistant Engineer Grade-I:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) or Engineering Degree in Mining, or Mechanical or Drilling from a recognized University or Institute. (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)
Assistant Survey Officer:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) or B.Tech degree in Civil or Mining Engineering from a recognized University.
Principal Officer (Engineering):
- Certificate of competency of Marine Engineer Officer Class-I(Steam or Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in Section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act,1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said Act and five year’s Service at sea of which one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.
Senior Lecturer (General Medicine):
- A basic University or equivalent qualification is included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
- M.D. (Medicine)/M.D. (General Medicine) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
Senior Lecturer (General Surgery):
- A basic University or equivalent qualification is included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
- M.S.(Surgery)/ M.S.( General Surgery) from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent.
Senior Lecturer (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases):
- A basic University or equivalent qualification is included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. (ii) M.D. (Tuberculosis)/M.D. (T.B. and Respiratory Diseases)/ M.D. (Medicine) with T.D.D, D.T.D., or D.T.C.D. /M.D. (T.B. and Chest Diseases) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.

30 to 50 years.
