Graduate Teacher (Government Secondary Schools):
A Graduate Teacher (Mathematics) shall have a Graduation Degree in Science with honors or a major in Mathematics and have Physics, Chemistry, or Biology as pass course or minor subject in the Graduate level courses or Post Graduation Degree in Mathematics from a recognized University with Honours or Major in Mathematics having Physics, Chemistry or Biology as pass course or minor subject with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation and must have the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from Institution(s) recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.
Graduate Teacher (Provincialised Secondary Schools):
A Graduate Teacher (Mathematics) shall have a Graduation Degree in Science with honor or major in Mathematics and having Physics, Chemistry, or Biology as a pass course or minor subject in the Graduate level courses or Post Graduation Degree in Mathematics from a recognized University with Honours or Major in Mathematics having Physics, Chemistry or Biology as pass course or minor subject with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation and must have the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from Institution(s) recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.

A candidate must not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years for the open category, 40 years for Ex-Servicemen, 41 years for OBC/ MOBC, and 43 years for SC/ ST(P)/ST(H) and 48 years for Persons with Disability (PwD) as on 1st January 2023.
