Eligibility Criteria:

For Class 1 to 5 (Level 1):

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) under the NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulation, 2002.
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Graduate and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name is known) passed or appearing in this course.

For Class 6 to 8 (Level 2):

• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) passed or appeared in this course.
• At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Postgraduate Education and a B.Ed. passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year B.Ed. passed, under the NCTE (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
• Graduation or post Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) passed or appearing in B.Ed (Special Education)
