Qualification:
Constable of Police (Communication):
H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained passing marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in H.S. (Science) examination to apply for the post.
Constable (Driver):
HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Constable (Dispatch Rider):
HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Constable (Handymen):
HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Constable (Messenger):
HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Constable (Carpenter):
HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and passed prescribed ITI course in trade.
Sub-Officer:
H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained passing marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in H.S. (Science) examination to apply for the post.
Emergency Rescuer:
H.S. (Science) passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Age Limit:
For the posts of Sub-Officer:20 to 24 years as of 01-01-2023 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.1999).
For other posts:18 to 25 years as of 01-01-2023 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).
Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
- 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P), and ST(H).
- 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
- Additional relaxation of 3 (three) years in respect of trained Home Guards who have served for a period of 3(three) years or more for the candidates who apply for the posts of Constables in APRO only.
